Publication: The Position of Mother-Tongue Instruction in Sweden and Denmark

Dear readers,

It has been a long time since I’ve written on my blog.

In 2018 I started my bachelor in European Studies at the University of Amsterdam. From my passion for academic writing I opted to follow a Honoursprogramme of my faculty, where I was able to independently execute my first large research, on the position of MTI in Sweden and Denmark, and its implications on mobility and inclusion. This research was written in the light of the Migration and Inclusion in a Multicultural Europe (MIME) research programme, funded by the the European Union (FP7 613344).

Now the moment has come I have achieved the first publication on my name in the journal European and Regional Studies (acta univ. sapientiae). You can read the article through the following link: http://www.acta.sapientia.ro/acta-euro/C18/euro18_04.pdf

It is my aim to post more on this blog in the future, about subjects I truly care about and would like to elaborate on more. This includes research on matters related to migration and EU (migration/human rights) law, but also subjects and fields like Scandinavian langauge and culture, sustainability and other humanities-related questions. My love for photography and film will remain to be intertwined throughout.

I wish you all a Happy New Year

All the best,

Inga
